Going around

I have been to France for some days... the following is the diary of visiting.

The first stop: Paris

the first time I went to paris is not really for visiting. I went to take my Oral exam there in "ecole des mines".

It was 7 plus when I got out of the train station. it was still dark, and the weather was damn cold!! I went to luxembourg Park which is right beside the school. I heard "notre- damn" is also somewhere near by, but that day, it was raining. therefore, i dont really have a detailed look of paris

The second time I came to paris, I went Eiffel Tower. It is not so tall and nice as i expected. So I just took some pics, then left.

The second stop: Bruxelle
This weekends, we followed the suggestion of some seniors to go to travelling. We chose Brussel (Bruxelle) in Belgium. I just got to know tt it is the capital of the european union.

It is a fruitful weekends! I bought 270 plus euros, and when i was back, there is only 100 survived. I dont know how would my parents react if they know that i spent almost 2000 RMB just in two days!!

We went through the whole city... from south to north... on foot... Therefore we are very very tired!! during the whole traversal of the city, we experienced the atomosphere of strike there. We visit the famous "Julien" (which is a statue of peeing boy) and a church named saint michel

After that we had our lunch in a chinese restaurant..."Kuai4 Can1", which costs only 3.4. It is considered as extremely cheap here ~~~

In the afternoon, we took the metro to "Atomium", where the 1958 world exposition was held. It is in the structure of a big molecule, which i believe is NaCl... After paying 6 euro, we got to be sent to the top of this "molecule", and i seriously have the same feeling like being in the oriental tower in Shanghai...

Finally we are all very tired... but the night view should be even nicer in brussel. So we just wandered in the street. We got to eat something in Hector, a extremely "nan2 chi1" fast food restaurant.

Very tired, but dont wanna go to the hotel, we chose to watch movie... Golden compass, which i dont really think is a nice movie...

the next day, we got up at 7... for the free breakfast, provided by the hotel

The third stop: Waterloo
We went to waterloo, which is abt 1 hour by train from brussel. We went to the wellinton museum. And we saw the famous Lion at the top of the hill as well.

Now I am just back from Brussel.

In Europe, everyting is charged... we ate MC, even the jam like Kutchup is charged for 0.5 euro...

In the train from brussel to Paris, I gave my last 50 cents to someone played music in the train... consequently, after alighting, I dont have money for the toillet!!! It was charged for 0.5 euro also!!!

Now I am sleepy and tired... Tmr still have class.

Waiting for my grand ecoles interviews anxiously... Hopefully everything goes well.
